Bhubaneswar, Mar 5: Jagmohan Meena, a senior IPS officer, took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. He took charge in the presence of Commissioner of Police.

On Friday, the state government effected a major reshuffle at the top and middle levels of IPS by changing the DCPs of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Besides, SPs of three districts were also transferred.

✨Soon after assuming the charge, the DCP said new teams will be formed to nab the accused persons involved in loot of apartments. Similalrly, new strategies will be launched to address the traffic issue in the city.
The officer also shared Whatsapp number ( 8280338302) for the general public, where citizens will be able to lodge complaints. The prime focus will be on crimes against women and children, added the DCP.
