Behera's removal from the post of Chairperson, SCW, Odisha has been notified by the Women and Child Welfare Department.
Behera was served a show-cause notice regarding her performance. Though she submitted a reply, yet the answer could not satisfy the government.

Meanwhile, the nameplate of Behera has also been taken out.
The department issued a show-cause notice on October 29. Minati Behera submitted her reply on November 1.
