Bhubaneswar, Mar 29: Odisha reels under intense heatwave conditions, causing prominent disruptions to daily life. While six cities crossed the 40°C mark, Jharsuguda tops with 43 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department predicts a continued increase in both day and night temperatures by 2 to 4 degrees over the next three days.
Bhubaneswar records a temperature of 40.2 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the temperatures of western and interior parts of Odisha saw a further rise marking at 40-41 degrees.

✨The Regional Meteorological Dept. Bhubaneswar issued a yellow warning for six districts of Odisha including Kalahandi, Balangir, Soanpur, Boudh, Sambalpur and Jharsuguda, for today. Likewise, the yellow warning for the district of Balangir, Soanpur, Boudh, Sambalpur and Jharsuguda has been issued for tomorrow.
However, there is a possibility of Nor’wester rain (Kalbaisakhi) in some places during the afternoon, on April 2.
