Bhubaneswar, May 6: Odisha is set to experience another round of intense heat, as temperatures are expected to rise sharply in the coming days.

According to the regional meteorological center, mercury levels may increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius above normal across the state.

Following recent Nor'wester rains, the state will witness a surge in heatwave conditions, with both coastal and interior Odisha affected.

The Met Department has also issued a yellow warning for May 8 and 9, cautioning residents about the soaring temperatures.

Additionally, Nor'wester showers may continue for the next 48 hours, keeping weather conditions dynamic.
