Bargarh, Jan 6: Keeping in view the mass celebration of the on-going Dhanu Yatra, the Bargarh district administration has rescheduled school timings in symbolic 'Mathura' city in Bargarh.

Now, all schools in the city, where the world's largest open-stage theatre will be played, will operate from 8 am to 1 pm all working days.

The decision of the Bargarh district education department has been taken in view of the possible crowd and traffic problems in Dhanu Yatra. Instead of 10 am to 4 pm, classes will be held in all schools and colleges of Mathura city from 8 am to 1 am.

This year, the crowd of spectators is increasing in the Bargarh Dhanu Jatra festival. While only eight days are left to the festival, the changed school times are a welcome step, said local residents.

In view of the possible congestion and traffic problems, the Bargarh district education department has changed the timing of classes in all educational institutions in Bargarh from 6th to 13th.
