Boudh, Dec 1: A schoolteacher was arrested by Tusura police on charges of selling ganja today. The teacher has been identified as Udhab Deep of Guchitara village in Boudh district. 

Udhab, a teacher of Ashragaon Upper Primary school, was selling the contraband item to earn extra money. 

Last year on January 7 he had narrowly escaped the police while he was smuggling some  drugs. He used a fake vehicle registration number to escape from getting caught.  

During patrolling  Deep and his assistant ran away leaving the vehicle behind at the spot. Suspecting some foul play, police searched the vehicle and seized 51 kilograms of cannabis and found that the number was fake. On the basis of chasis number police could trace his whereabouts and arrested him.

With the help of Ghantapada police, Tusura police was able to nab the accused.
