During the inauguration, Pradhan emphasized that the joint efforts of the central and state governments will ensure Sambalpur evolves into a modern and well-equipped city. The overbridge is expected to reduce congestion and enhance commuter safety, benefiting thousands of residents.
In addition to infrastructure improvements, the administration has launched Mission Green Sambalpur, targeting the plantation of over one lakh trees within three months to promote environmental sustainability. The initiative, led by the district administration and forest department, aims to make Sambalpur a greener and healthier city.
