Sambalpur, Nov 7: The students of Sambalpur University have staged a protest demanding security tightening in the university premises after yesterday's incident.

A protesting student stated, " Why are the hostel gates closed as early as 5:30pm? The library is open till eight in the evening, but we cannot use it."

✨The Vice-Chancellor is in talks with the students to find a solution.
"Police have been informed and investigation is underway. There are ample security guards and CCTVs installed in the premises", said the Registrar in-charge.
