Sambalpur, Dec 25: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has unveiled the portrait of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Wednesday at Golkunda. The statue of the former Prime Minister of India is made of 10 tonnes of bronze.
Notably, Union Minister Pradhan is on a one-day visit to Sambalpur and Deogarh. He is scheduled to attend a host of events in Sambalpur before heading to Deogarh later in the day.
He is scheduled to attend the TB nutrition kit distribution programme at the Tapaswini Hall -- District Auditorium -- in Sambalpur. Then he will head to PHD Ground to attend the district-level agricultural machinery and farmer fair.
The Union Education Minister will visit Deogarh in the afternoon. He is scheduled to attend the 34th Bamanda Cricket Tournament at the Indira Gandhi Stadium.
