Bhubaneswar, Aug 2: Noted senior journalist and Retired HoD of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Berhampur University, Dr Pradeep Mahapatra passed away at 69.
Dr Mahapatra was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Dr Mahapatra fell ill a few days back and was then brought from Berhampur to Bhubaneswar for treatment. He was diagnosed with critical stage of pneumonia.

✨During treatment, he suffered a cardiac arrest and sustained serious damage to his brain.
