Puri, Sept 13: In a bid to contain the spread of Bird Flu, the Puri administration has imposed restrictions on poultry farming.
Keeping the safety of people in mind, the Puri administration has ordered the poultry farmers from affected areas to stop farming for next three months.
The order has been issued for the farmers in Pipili, Delang and Satyabadi.
Notably, 141 poultry farms, including 55 in Pipili, 64 in Delang and 22 in Satyabadi, have been sealed to contain the spread of Bird Flu.

✨In response, the farm owners have submitted a letter demanding compensation for the loss they have incurred due to the culling of chickens as well as the sealing of their poultry farms.
It has also been reported that the poultry farm owners have threatened to protest if they don't get the compensation amount with in seven days.
