Soro, Dec 31: In a New Year present for Soro residents, the Malda-Bengaluru Express is to station at Soro, informed the Indian railways. The express train reached Soro station late on Saturday. 

The party member of BJP in Soro and the Nagarika Mancha along with the residents of Soro have given a welcomed the move by the Indian Railways.  

The residents have extended their thankfulness to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Minister of Education and Skill and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan for making the Soro station a stoppage to halt for the Malda-Bengaluru Express. 

Making the Soro station a stop to halt for the Malda-Bengaluru express will benefit the residents of six blocks of Soro, Bahanaga, Oupada, Khaira, Simulia and Basudevpur.
