Remuna Tehsildar Faces DA Case, Vigilance Searches His Houses At 7 Places

Vigilance officers today conducted simultaneous searches in houses belonging to Remuna Tehsildar Bidyadhar Pati and his relatives in a disproportionate assets case.
Balasore, Feb 11: Acting on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Bidyadhar Pati, Tehsildar, Remuna, Balasore, Vigilance officers today conducted simultaneous searches in houses belonging to him and his relatives at seven places to detect assets possessed by Pati.
Searches were conducted on the strength of warrants issued by Special Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The following are the places of search.
(1) Flat No. C604 at Tamarin Terraces, Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar
(2) Flat No. B40406 (3BHK Executive) at Adsotech Pride, Rudrapur, Bhubaneswar
(3) Double-storied building located at Kuruda, PS-Sadar, Dist-Balasore.
(4) Paternal house of Sri Bidyadhar Pati, at Ainri, PS-Soro, Dist-Balasore.

✨(5) Office chamber of Sri Bidyadhar Pati, Tahasildar, Remuna, Dist-Balasore.
(6) Place of stay of Sri Bidyadhar Pati at Balasore.
(7) House of Sri Pranabandhu Kar brother-in-law of Sri Bidyadhar Pati located at Plot No.625 Mars Villa, HN-7, Panchasakha Nagar, Dumduma, Bhubaneswar.
As many as six DSPs, three Inspectors, and 10 ASIs have been engaged to conduct simultaneous searches at the above-noted premises.
Searches were still in progress and further information will follow, informed an official statement.
