Tangarpali, Jul 24: A rear coach of the Shalimar–Sambalpur Superfast Express derailed near Tangarpali early Thursday morning.

Following this, railway officials and local police rushed to the spot and carried a restoration effort.

While the exact cause of the derailment is yet to be determined, authorities have confirmed that emergency teams are working to ensure passenger safety and restore normal rail operations.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.

The derailment has led to temporary disruptions in train services along the route, with alternate arrangements being made for affected passengers.
