Bhubaneswar, July 14: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed happiness and offered obeisance to Lord Jagannath as the Ratna Bhandar of the Shree Jagannath Temple was opened after 46 years to repair cracks and make an inventory of ornaments and jewelry. 

The Chief Minister, however, said the treasure trove of Shree Jagannath was opened by the wish of the Lord Jagannath and a new era of development began in the state.  

"You drive all activities. You drive the entire world. You are the soul of the Odia clan. You are the best identity of Odia Asmita and Swabhiman," the CM said in devotion.

As you wish, the Odia community has started its efforts to move forward with Asmita identity. The four doors of the temple were first opened at your will. Today, after 46 years of your will, the treasure trove was opened with a great purpose, the Chief Minister wrote in his 'X' handle and added, "I strongly believe that this great work will be successful."

With your blessings, let every Odia rise above caste,  community, creed, and politics and proceed to create a new identity of Odisha in the spiritual and material world, prayed the Chief Minister. 

According to the information, the inner room of the Ratana Bandar (Treasure Trove) of the 12th Century shrine was opened at the scheduled auspicious time of 1.28 pm today. 

According to the information, the outer part of the Ratna Bhandar was opened first. Then steps were taken to open the inner room of the Ratna Bhandar. The lock would be cut if it is not opened with the keys.
