Bhubaneswar, Jan 6: The deadline for e-KYC of ration cards has been extended till January 31.
Eligible beneficiaries can do e-KYC by January 31 as per provisions in the Food Security Act. The e-KYC can be updated at the nearest EPS or public distribution centre.
The government has extended the deadline as lakhs of ration card beneficiaries have not yet updated their e-KYC. Earlier, the government had given time till January 15.
