Cuttack, July 6: The operations of Special Train Service for the holy Rath Yatra began Saturday as Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab flagged off the operations at the Cuttack Railway Station.
Notably, 315 special trains will be in operation to Puri from various places across the state as well as places from neighbouring states of Odisha. The East Coast Railway (ECoR) released a list of trains and their timings on their X handle.

✨Speaking on the Special Train Service, Mahtab said, "Previously, most of the trains couldn't be operated to Puri due to the lack of railway tracks. As a result, people used to travel to Puri in their own vehicles or going for alternatives. But with the change of time, this became possible after the Indian Railways expanded the railway tracks."
"Now devotees and pilgrims from all corners of the state can travel to Puri without any hesitation. This will instill confidence in government vehicles and ensure pollution-free Rath Yatra," explained the BJP MP.
