New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar, Aug 20: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan celebrated the auspicious Raksha Bandhan Utsav as small children, girl students and women tied Rakshis on his wrist on Monday.
The Union Minister also joined President Droupati Murmu in the special Raksha Bandhan programme organised in the Rastrapati Bhawan. He celebrated Raksha Bandhan with students from different parts of the country.
Besides, he got Rakshis tied on his wrist by students at the Sambit Gurukulam Girls' Sainik School.

✨"Tying Rakshis from students is memorable. Rakshi is the symbol of immeasurable affection and unbreakable faith between brothers and sisters," said the Union Minister on the occasion.
He thanked Guruma and Maa Swadhi Ritambhara for the memorable Raksha Bandhan.
