Bhubaneswar, Dec 24: Rain is very likely to lash coastal and southern parts of Odisha today and tomorrow, said Indian Meteorological Department MD Mrutunjaya Mohapatra.
The IMD MD said rainfall will occur by the impact of a low-pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal. Today, light rainfall will occur in the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Malkangiri, and Koraput.
The quantum of rainfall will decrease tomorrow. Only the Ganjam and Gajapati districts will experience light rain. Chilly weather continues to prevail in the State.
