Bhubaneswar Aug 4: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast continued rainfall across Odisha for the next few days, with a yellow alert issued for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds until August 8.

Following a period of alternating dry spells and showers, the state is expected to witness renewed rainfall activity due to a low-pressure system moving north-eastward over the Bay of Bengal. The IMD has warned of moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in several districts.
