Puri, Aug 24: The Rahurekha Lagi Niti ritual of Srimandir deities will be conducted today, for which darshan will remain suspended for four hours from 2 PM to 6 PM.
According to the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), the ritual will be performed after the First Bhoga Mandap. During this period, no visitors will be allowed for the darshan of Lord Jagannath and his siblings Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.
Rahurekha Lagi of Lord Jagannath and his siblings is conducted on the fifth day of Bhadraba's dark fortnight.
Notably, Rahurekha Niti is a secret ritual of the Holy Trinity and is first adorned to Lord Balabhadra, then Lord Jagannath and at last to Devi Subhadra.
