Ragging Allegations Surface Again At Berhampur MKCG Medical College

Berhampur, Sept 2: Another fresh incident of ragging have emerged from MKCG Medical College where a second-year MBBS student has reportedly brought physical and mental harassment allegations against the senior students of the college.
According to reports, the student complained that he was summoned under the pretext of a “General Body Meeting” and was forced to stand for hours. When he protested, he was allegedly made to squat as punishment.
The incident reportedly occurred on August 18, involving a group of six to seven senior students.

✨Following the incident, the victim has lodged a formal complaint with the National Medical Commission (NMC), prompting the NMC to send an official letter to the college dean seeking immediate action.
In response, the college administration has scheduled a meeting of the Anti-Ragging Cell today to investigate the matter and ensure accountability.
