Puri: Shreemandir Ratna Bhandar Repair Works Suspended For Two Days

Puri, Feb 11: The repair works of the Shreemandir Ratna Bhandar has been suspended for a couple of days starting Tuesday.
As per the report, the decision to suspend the repair works was taken due to special rituals at the Jagannath Temple.
A special ritual will take place for Lord Jagannath’s Gaja Uddharana Besha. Therefore, the Ratna Bhandar repair works has been suspended for February 12 and 13.
The grouting work on the wall of the Ratna Bhandar has already been completed. The replacement of the affected stones inside the Ratna Bhandar is in progress. More than 100 affected stones will reportedly be replaced.
In another development, scaffolding, an iron fence, has already been put up to repair the outer wall of the Ratna Bhandar.
Basalt stone will soon be placed after de-plastering the cement on the floor. High quality black stone has been ordered from Khiching, which will arrive soon.
