Puri, Sept 16: Lord Jagannath will take 'Balibamana' Besha in Shreemandir today. Bamana Janma Utsav was celebrated in the temple yesterday.
As part of 'Balibamana' Besha, Lord Jagannath will be adorned as a child in the form of Bamana (Dwarf) God on the Ratna Singhasana. Lord Balabhadra will be adorned as King and Devi Subhadra in common attire.
The Balibamana Besha will be done after 1 pm. Lord Jagannath will be in Balibamana Besha till Badasingha Puja. The deities will put on various kinds of gold ornaments during Dadhibamana Besha.
