Puri, Jul 27: Devotees planning to visit the revered Shree Jagannath Temple tomorrow are advised to adjust their schedules, as darshan will remain suspended for 4 hours due to secret rituals related to the Khala Pada of the deities.

The development was informed by the temple administration.

According to an official release, Khala Pada ritual of Holy deities will be conducted tomorrow after the completion of second Bhogamandap. Following the secret ritual, the Jagannath temple will remain closed from 6 PM to 10 PM.

These rituals form an integral part of the temple’s ancient traditions, often conducted away from public view in accordance with centuries-old customs.

Visitors are encouraged to plan their visits either before or after the restricted hours, and temple staff will be on-site to ensure smooth coordination and offer guidance to devotees.
