The air reverberated with chants of “Jai Jagannath,” the rhythmic clang of gongs, and the soulful notes of conches as the divine siblings made their way to their aunt’s abode.
Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple, Arabinda Padhee, said that the procession began precisely as scheduled. At 9:25 AM, the Taladhwaja chariot of Lord Balabhadra resumed its journey, followed by Devi Subhadra’s Darpadalana and Lord Jagannath’s Nandighosha at 9:50 AM. By 11:17 AM, Taladhwaja had reached the Singhadwara of Gundicha Temple.
Padhee expressed satisfaction over the disciplined execution of all rituals. “Every servitor, police personnel, and official deserves appreciation for ensuring a smooth and timely procession,” he said.
