This second phase follows the initial auction held in June, after which several parts remained unsold. The temple administration has now confirmed that some components are still available and has responded to public demand by reopening the application process.
Compared to previous years, the prices of the chariot parts have seen a significant increase. Officials stated that this revision reflects the growing demand among devotees and collectors, and will contribute to strengthening the temple’s fund.
However, some devotees have urged the administration to reconsider the pricing to encourage broader participation.
The administration has emphasized the importance of
maintaining the cultural and spiritual value of these sacred items, and
stricter SOPs have been proposed to ensure their respectful handling.
