Koraput, Nov 12: Thousands of devotees visited the Shabar Shreekshetra at Koraput to see Puri Rath Wheels that reached the shrine on Tuesday.
A special festival-like event was marked at the Jagannath Temple of Shabar Shreekshetra as Puri Rath wheels arrived at the shrine. Today is perceived as a sacred day for Ekadashi Tithi of light fortnight of Kartika.
On arrival, the wheels were taken in a procession around the city. The beating of drums and cymbals, Ghant, and trumpets created an atmosphere of devotion in the hilly town.

✨The sacred wheels, bought from Puri Shreemandir at Rs 51,000, have been kept on the temporary Snan Mandap (Temporary Bathing Platform).
