Bhubaneswar, Jun 18: In a significant move towards modernization, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has initiated steps to establish a digital donation system, known as e-Hundi, which will be linked to Axis Bank.
A formal proposal regarding the integration was sent to the Law Department under letter no. 9176, dated June 14, which has since received a response and support from the department.
The initiative, supported by the temple management committee and guided by directives from the Chief Minister, aims to simplify and broaden the reach of donations through Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
