Key Points
Puri, Sep 8:The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri, has secured intellectual property protection for three more iconic identities associated with the 12th‑century shrine, marking another step in safeguarding its sacred heritage. The names-- Shree Mandira (Classes 19
and 45), Ratna Bhandar (Classes 14 and 45), and Shree Nahar (Class 19)-- have been formally accepted for publication by the Trade Marks Registry, officials said on Tuesday.
Expanding Protection
This marks the third phase of SJTA’s trademark initiative. Earlier, eight identities had already received approval. In the first phase, Ananda Bazaar, Patitapaban, and the Nilachakra logo were recognised.
