The construction of the three massive chariots—Nandighosa for Lord Jagannath, Taladhwaja for Lord Balabhadra, and Darpadalana for Devi Subhadra—is progressing rapidly at the Ratha Khala near the Jagannath Temple.

On the 46th day of construction, skilled artisans and servitors are working tirelessly to complete the upper sections of the chariots. The third floor installation has been completed, along with the big wooden beams (Badathala Potala) that form the base structure. The first set of wooden planks has been attached, and work on additional layers is ongoing.

The front sections of the chariots have been reinforced with decorative wooden panels, and the side structures are being strengthened with iron fittings. The four main pillars of each chariot have been secured, ensuring stability for the grand procession.
