Bhubaneswar, Jun 2: The death toll of the Puri firecracker explosion rose to 13 with two more victims dying today. 

This was informed by the Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha at a Presser here. 

The SRC also informed that 17 more persons, who were injured in the fire explosion incident, have been undergoing treatment at different hospitals in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. 

He said ex-gratia support of Rs 4 lakh has been announced to the family of each deceased. The injured persona is getting free-of-cost treatment, he said. 

It may be noted that Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with BJP leaders Sambit Patra and Jayant Sarangi met the family members of the deceased today.
