Puri, Mar 4: Devotees turned into an unhappy lot as the Neelchakra atop of the Shreemandir was not visitble for a few housed due to intense fog this morning.

Usually, devotees offer their Namaskar to the Neel Chakra and Patitapaban Bana (Blue Wheel and Sacred flag atop it).

Many devotees who don't find time to visit the temple and have Darshan of the Trinity offer Namaskar to Nila Chakra, which is perceived as a symbol of the Trinity's divinity.

A dense fog covered the Neel Chakra when the Mangal Alati ritual was underway. The Sreemandir and Neelchakra were not seen for some time. The sacred Neelchakra was visible after the fog faded away.
