Cuttack, June 7: In an extraordinary display of compassion and leadership, Odisha’s Housing and Urban Development Minister, Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, personally intervened to assist a family involved in a serious roadside accident near Telengapentha on Saturday.

The victims, identified as Ananta Kumar Sahu, his wife, and their two children, were critically injured following the mishap. Coincidentally, the H&UD Minister was passing through the area when he spotted the devastating scene.

Without hesitation, Dr. Mahapatra halted his convoy, swiftly instructing his security personnel to organize emergency rescue efforts. In an act of deep humanity, he ensured the victims were quickly transported to the nearest hospital using one of his escort vehicles, prioritizing urgent medical attention.

Further demonstrating his commitment to public welfare, the Odisha H&UD Minister personally directed officials to guarantee proper treatment for the injured at the hospital.

His timely intervention not only saved lives but also reinforced the essence of empathetic leadership.
