Bhubaneswar, Mar 1: The prime accused, involved in the brutal murder of sanitary supervisor Sahadev Nayak on Rasulgarh flyover in Bhubaneswar, has been arrested.
Mancheswar Police arrested the accused Susanta Nayak from Kanpur area in Cuttack.
Earlier, a total of seven persons were arrested in connection with the case.
On January 8, Sahadev was returning home after dropping his daughter at her school in the VSS Nagar area when four bike-borne miscreants intercepted him on the railway over-bridge near Rasulgarh square and attacked him with a sharp weapon.
The assault was lethal, resulting in the decapitation of the victim.
