Bhubaneswar, Feb 2: President Droupadi Murmu begins her six-day visit to Odisha on Monday, with a packed schedule covering Bhubaneswar, Jajpur, Balasore, Puri, and Mayurbhanj.
She is scheduled to arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA), Bhubaneswar, at 6:30 pm and proceed to Lok Bhavan for her overnight stay.
On February 3, the President will travel by Air Force
helicopter from Biju Patnaik International Airport to Jajpur, where she will
land at the helipad near the new administrative building. She will then visit
the Maa Biraja temple and offer prayers for nearly 90 minutes.

Later in the day, she will attend the convocation ceremony at Fakir Mohan University in Balasore. By 3.50 PM, she will head to Puri, where she will visit the Jagannath Temple, perform rituals including pind daan, and stay overnight at Lok Bhavan in Puri.
On February 4, President Murmu will leave Puri at 9 am and reach Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district by 10:40 am. She will inaugurate the Holiday Home at Mahuldiha and unveil the statue of Bhanjaveer Sunaram Soren at the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School. She will also inaugurate a sports complex and virtually launch several state projects.

Her itinerary continues on February 6 with participation in multiple programmes across Mayurbhanj before returning to Bhubaneswar in the afternoon. She will attend an event at Hotel Mayfair in the capital city.
On February 7, she is scheduled to depart Bhubaneswar for Chhattisgarh by a special Air Force aircraft.
To ensure her safety, Commissionerate Police has deployed extensive security arrangements in Bhubaneswar. A total of 30 platoons of police force will be on duty, guided by the Blue Book protocol.
The deployment includes four DCP-rank officers, five additional DCPs, 23 ACPs, 33 inspectors, along with SIs and ASIs. Armed police will be stationed on high-rise buildings along her travel routes, while plainclothes officers will also be deployed.
This visit marks an important engagement for the President
in her home state, combining cultural, educational, and developmental programs
with spiritual observances.
