Bhubaneswar, June 27: President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Miniser Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have extended warm greetings to alll on the auspicious occasion of the annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath.

"On the auspicious occasion of the sacred Rath Yatra, I extend my heartfelt greetings to devotees of Mahaprabhu Jagannath residing across the country and around the world. As the grand chariots carry Lord Balabhadra, Mahaprabhu Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, and the divine Sudarshan Chakra, millions of devotees experience a profound spiritual connection. The unique feature of this festival lies in the divine forms engaging in human-like play. On this sacred day, I pray to Mahaprabhu Jagannath for an atmosphere of peace, friendship, and love throughout the world," the President wrote on 'X', formerly Twitter.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to the X and conveyed his greetings.

Home Minister Amit Shah also took to his 'X' handle and conveyed his greetings in Odia.

"On the sacred occasion of Shree Jagannath’s Rath Yatra, heartfelt greetings to everyone. The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath is a unique confluence of faith and devotion, symbolizing the harmony of bhakti, culture, and tradition as we carry forward our core values.

I offer my prayers to Mahaprabhu Jagannath, Veer Balabhadra, and Mata Subhadra for the well-being and progress of all," Shah wrote.
