Sambalpur, Mar 2: President Droupadi Murmu, arrived in Sambalpur today and paid tribute to Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi at Madhupur. 

She was received by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at Redhakhol. 

After that she visited the Chausathi Siddhi Ashram here and had a brief discussion with the saints. She enquired about the old trees in the ashram. She planted saplings in the ashram. 

The saints of the ashram presented a photo of Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi and a book to the President. 

President Murmu addressed the Madhupur residents and shook hands with them. She also distributed chocolates among the children. 

President Murmu will depart for Delhi in afternoon.
