Bhubaneswar, July 13: President Droupadi Murmu will visit Odisha from July 14 to 15, 2025 to participate in a series of academic and cultural events in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, officials said on Sunday.
On July 14, the President will grace the fifth convocation ceremony of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar. The event will celebrate academic excellence and achievements in the healthcare sector and is expected to be graced by prominent medical professionals, students, and dignitaries.
The following day, on July 15, the President will preside over the 13th annual convocation of Ravenshaw University in Cuttack. As part of her engagements, she will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of three buildings at Ravenshaw Girls’ High School, highlighting her commitment to educational infrastructure and women’s empowerment.

✨Additionally, President Murmu will participate in the birth anniversary celebrations of Adikabi Sarala Das, a revered literary figure of Odisha known as the first poet of Odia literature. In recognition of contributions to society, she will present the Kalinga Ratna Award-2024 during the cultural program.
The two-day visit underscores the President’s strong connection to Odisha, her home state, and her consistent support for initiatives that foster education, literature, and social development.
