Bhubaneswar, Aug 27: As the nation celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion and enthusiasm, prominent leaders including President Droupadi Murmu, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan extended their heartfelt wishes to citizens across country.

Taking to the Twitter handle, President Murmu said: "Heartfelt greetings to all Indians living in the country and abroad on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi! This grand festival is celebrated with joy as the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ganesh, the deity of wisdom and intellect. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi greeted the people of the state.

"Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. May the infinite blessings of Lord Shri Ganesh fill everyone's life with happiness and prosperity," tweeted the CM.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also took to social media to shared his wishes.

Ganesh Chaturthi, which marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, is being celebrated with vibrant processions, elaborate pujas, and community gatherings across the country. The festival will continue for ten days, culminating in Ganesh Visarjan.
