President Droupadi Murmu To Visit Odisha On March 24

Bhubaneswar, Mar 12: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled for a two-day visit to Odisha on March 24 and 25.
The President’s itinerary says that Murmu is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar at 1.30 pm, March 24. She will then travel to Nayagarh district by an Air Force helicopter.
During her visit, she will offer prayers at the Kantilo Nilamadhava Temple and later attend the annual function of the Bharatiya Vishwabasu Shabar Samaj Foundation in Kaliapalli as the chief guest. After the event, she will return to Bhubaneswar and stay overnight at Raj Bhavan.
On March 25, President Murmu is scheduled to visit Cuttack via helicopter from Bhubaneswar Airport. In Cuttack, she will attend the 13th annual convocation of Ravenshaw University as the chief guest and lay the foundation stone for a developmental project at Ravenshaw Girls' High School.
Following this, she is scheduled to have lunch and rest at the Circuit House in Machhua Bazar. Later, she will pay homage at the statue of Adikavi Sarala Das in Tulsipur and then proceed to Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, where she will participate as the chief guest in the Kalinga Ratna Award 2024 ceremony organised by Sarala Sahitya Sansad to mark the 600th birth anniversary of Adikavi Sarala Das.
After the event, she will return to Bhubaneswar and depart for Delhi at 5.30 pm.
