Angul, Feb 23: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan advised the Tata Steel Foundation to collaborate with the Angul district administration to widen the scope of work with a focus on education, health, and employment as per the needs of the local area in the district.
The Minister urged while laying the foundation stone for various development projects, including the Baanarpal Beautification project (Rs 1.25 crore) and Amrut Sarovar (Rs 50 lakh) in Angul on Sunday.
Besides, the Minister graced the 'Arunima-2025' celebration of the Tata Steel Foundation at PSSJ Junior College. Here, he laid the foundation stone for a lab and playground to come up for Rs 25 lakh.
He gave away the 'Jyoti Scholarship" to SC and ST students of Class VII and above.

During the visit, the Union Minister visited the Durga Madhab Temple and Shanishwar Temple located at Talamula under the Banarpal block.
