Puri, May 24: In a political violence, three BJP workers, including a Panchayat Samiti Member, were injured after being attacked by BJD workers at Sahajapur under Pipili Assembly constituency late on Thursday night.
Mangalpur Panchayat Samiti member Gadadhar Parida and two others were critically injured in BJD workers' attack. They were first rushed to the Community Health Centre, Mangalpur and then shifted to the Capital Hospital because of their critical condition.
Local BJP leaders alleged that a group of BJD workers went to their party worker's house at around 10 pm and locked their doors outside. When other BJP workers came to their rescue, the BJD goons attacked them with batons, swords and other lethal weapons.

✨Hundreds of BJP workers led by Pipili MLA candidate gheraoed the Pipili police station, demanding immediate arrest of the BJD goons.
