The deceased has been identified as Biswanath Mirdha.
According to reports, Biswanath, an auto-rickshaw driver who was taking the voters to the polling station in his auto-rickshaw, was opposed by the miscreants and was allegedly attacked by them.
Biswanath was rushed to a local medical facility where he was declared dead.
