Bhubaneswar, Jun 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake a day-long visit to Odisha on June 20, marking the completion of two years of the BJP government in the state. The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive at Pahadpur in Mayurbhanj district at 11:05 AM and will spend nearly an hour visiting the native village of President Droupadi Murmu, officials said.
The visit carries symbolic importance, as Mayurbhanj is the home district of the President and a stronghold of tribal communities. PM Modi’s presence at the anniversary programme is expected to energize party cadres and highlight the State government’s achievements since coming to power in 2024.
During the official programme, the Prime Minister will participate in celebrations organized to mark the two-year milestone of the BJP government in Odisha.
