Bhubaneswar, Jan 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha on January 28 to attend the Utkarsha Odisha Sammilani in Bhubaneswar.

Senior BJP leader and Balasore MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi informed the media about the scheduled Prime Minister's visit at a Press conference here today. January 28 visit will be the Prime Minister's fifth Odisha visit after the last general elections.

"After the double engine government was formed in Odisha, the Prime Minister visited the State frequently from which his focus on the Purvodaya mission is well understood. He will again visit Odisha on January 28 to attend the Utkarsha Odisha programme," said Sarangi.

Sarangi said the Prime Minister will arrive at Bhubaneswar airport at around 10.30 am on Tuesday. Party workers will give him a grand reception at the airport. Then, he will go straight to Janata Maidan to attend the Utkarsha Odisha Sammilani. The Balasore MP also stated that the Prime Minister will address a huge gathering at the event.

"Many national and international level programmes have been organised after the double engine government was formed by the BJP in Odisha. Police DG Sammalani, Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and Navy Day have been successfully organised. These programmes have enhanced Odisha's dignity worldwide," claimed Sarangi.

Sarangi said the coming Utkasha Odisha Sammilani is expected to be very fruitful in attracting investments to various sectors in the State.
