Bhubaneswar, June 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived Wednesday afternoon at the Capital City of Odisha for the oath-taking ceremony of CM-designate Mohan Charan Majhi.

Majhi is scheduled to take oath as the first ever Chief Minister of the Eastern state representing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at 4.45 pm today. 

PM Modi headed to Raj Bhavan after arriving at the Biju Patnaik International Airport. The three-time Prime Minister will head to the ceremony following a roadshow from Raj Bhavan to Janata Maidan, the venue of oath-taking. 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also in Bhubaneswar along with the Chief Ministers of multiple states, including Mohan Yadav (Madhya Pradesh), Manik Saha (Tripura), Vishnu Deo Sai (Chhattisgarh), Pramod Sawant (Goa), Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), Bhupendrabhai Patel (Gujarat), Pushkar Singh Dhami (Uttarakhand), Nayab Singh Saini(Haryana) and  Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam) have already arrived in Bhubaneswar for the ceremony.
