Boudh, Jan 13: An awareness campaign was organised in Ramgarh Jagannath Forest Project area on behalf of Boudh District's Old Cuttack Range Forest department to make the picnic spots plastic-free.
Ramagarh High School students including three SHG women group members went out on a procession to spread awareness regarding plastic free picnic spots under the chairmanship of Range Officer Jayant Kumar Das.
Boudh divisional forest officer (DFO) Debapriya Kampa graced the campaign as chief guest and gave 'Gurumantra' to all.

✨Eminent environmentalist R.K Mohapatra highlighted about the harmful effects of plastic on the environment.
In this campaign several events and cultural activities were also organised.
"Three major picnic spots like Kularikuda, Balasingaa forest project and Ramgarh Jagannath forest project have been established as plastic free zones," said Boudh DFO Debapriya Kampa.
