Dhenkanal, Nov 28: A pick-up van has dashed into a bike, killing a person and injuring another near Mahabirod police station square in Dhenkanal district this evening. 

The deceased has been identified as Milu Singh of Dolia village and the injured as Bapun Singh under Mahabirod police station limits. The duo were travelling by bike when the collision occured with the pick-up van.

According to sources, the two fell due to the impactful collision. The pick-up van driver fled the scene after the accident happened. 

The locals rushed them to the nearest dispensary. 

Police reached the spot and started investigation in the matter.
