Bhubaneswar, Jul 31: In a move aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has directed all state ministers to submit detailed report cards outlining their performance over the past year.
The initiative is intended to evaluate how effectively ministers have fulfilled their responsibilities and implemented government schemes across districts.
School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond stated that the Chief Minister has asked for comprehensive data on each minister’s activities, including their outreach and departmental achievements. “This report card will help ministers self-assess their work and become more conscious of their responsibilities,” Gond said.
Minister Gond said that a structured format has already been prepared for the report card, which will include the following key parameters:
- District Visits: Number of districts visited by the minister in the past year.
